Congratulations to the following energy professionals who have recently secured new positions in the E&P, renewable, service and industry organization sectors:

  • bp is simplifying its organisational structure. William Lin, who previously led regions, corporates & solutions, will now lead the gas & low carbon energy business, succeeding Anja-Isabel Dotzenrath who is retiring from bp and her executive career. Emeka Emembolu will head bp’s technology function, taking over from Leigh-Ann Russell who is leaving bp for an external opportunity. 
  • Phil Milton, Chief Executive Officer at Well-Safe Solutions, Steve Nicol, Executive President of Operations at Wood and Steve Bowyer, General Manager, North Sea at EnQuest have all been appointed to the board of Offshore Energies UK with immediate effect.
  • Former Shell chief executive officer Ben van Beurden will join private equity group KKR as a senior advisor on green investments.
  • Leading renewable energy consultancy and service provider, Natural Power, has appointed Clare Horner as Director of Onshore Consenting and Environment.
  • Acteon has announced the appointment of David-Alexandre Guez as Group Chief Financial Officer as of April 15th, 2024.
  • CRC Evans, a leading provider of coating and welding services, has appointed Justin Shaw as head of group treasury.
  • Barclays has appointed Rafael Abati as Co-Head of Energy Transition EMEA.
  • Fabio D'Agostino has joined the Ashtead Technology team as General Manager, Survey & Robotics – Europe.
  • FAR Limited has announced the appointment of Andrew Lilley as Non-Executive Director of the Company, with effect from 12 April 2024.
  • W&T Offshore has expanded the size of the Board to six members and appointed Mr. John D. Buchanan to fill the vacancy on the Board effective April 8, 2024.
  • Jade Metcalfe has started a new position as Senior Commercial Analyst at Tullow Oil.
  • Dr Jack Walker, is joining PeroStrat's team in Conwy as their newest Reservoir Geologist.
  • Martha Gibson takes on the role of Palynologist/Staff Stratigrapher based at PetroStrat's Conwy office.

  • Brazilian oilfield services provider Ocyan has appointed Jorge Mitidieri as new chief executive.
  • EMEC’s Commercial Director, Matt Finn, has been re-elected to the Board of Ocean Energy Europe.

  • Jordan Ferguson has been appointed CEO of Pier Solutions after serving the role on an interim basis from late 2023.

  • Jay Glick, Hunting's Chair, will be retiring as a Director at the conclusion of the Company's AGM with Stuart Brightman succeeding Mr Glick as Hunting PLC’s Company Chair.
