Total chooses Apollo for Consultancy Engineering Services

11/11/2020

Aberdeen based engineering and technology company, Apollo, has been awarded a Consultancy Engineering Services contract with Total E&P UK Limited.

The contract which runs for an initial period of 3 years covers seven work packages including: Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Development Engineering, Process and Flow Assurance, Facilities Engineering, Subsea and Pipelines Engineering and Decommissioning.

The award of the contract follows the investment from Global Energy Group in 2019 which allowed Apollo to re-focus themselves within the marketplace as a front end and through life engineering provider.

Paul Ellerton, Consultancy Director of Apollo commented,
"The award of the contract is a significant milestone in building our relationship with Total.  All the team is excited by the opportunity and looking forward to see what we can achieve together. We have continued to grow year on year in a very challenging market, so this award really cements our position as one of the leading engineering providers in the UKCS.”

Roisean Farquhar, Business Development Executive said,
"We are very pleased to have been awarded this contact. Total is one of the largest Operators in the North Sea and to be chosen to support them really proves the talent that exists within Apollo.”

Alongside a few other large contract wins, including two life-extension projects, this stands Apollo in a good position to weather the continued storm of  COVID 19 and another oil price crash. The wins will enable Apollo to continue on their growth trajectory and establish themselves further as a leading engineering consultancy.
