Armour Energy announces key executive appointments

08/06/2021

Armour Energy today announced two key appointments to their Executive Leadership team.

Olivia Versace has been appointed as Joint Company Secretary and Mark Greenwood has been appointed as the Company’s Chief Commercial Officer.

Olivia is an experienced corporate lawyer who has previously held senior legal positions in the energy and resources industry and private legal practice. She has extensive experience in corporate governance and company secretarial matters. Olivia holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science (Geology) from the University of Queensland, and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Olivia’s appointment is part of a transitional arrangement which will see Armour’s long-standing Company Secretary, Karl Schlobohm, retire from the role in the next months.

Mark joins Armour from Santos Limited where he spent the last seven years in senior roles spanning commercial, joint venture management, gas & liquids marketing, strategy and business development. Prior to Santos, Mark was a top-rated Energy analyst at Citigroup and JP Morgan. Mark holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Adelaide.

Armour’s CEO Brad Lingo said:
“This is an important move for Armour to reinforce the management team as the Company focuses on successfully delivering the demerger of McArthur Oil & Gas and the Northern Basin assets, and redoubling our focus on exploration and the continued development potential in the Surat, and the extensive exploration position in the South Australian Cooper Basin Western and Northern Flank wet gas and oil fairways.”

Armour’s Executive Chairman, Nicholas Mather said:
“On behalf of the Board, I would like to welcome Olivia and Mark, and thank Karl for his dedication and service to Armour since 2009. I am pleased that Karl will remain within the broader DGR group stable, and will therefore not be lost to the Company as a valuable resource if required.”
