Perth Basin energy company Norwest Energy advises that the 385 km² Rococo 3D seismic acquisition program has now been completed, with demobilisation of crew and equipment currently in progress.
Ensign Rig 970 has mobilised to the Lockyer-2 well location and joint venture operator Energy Resources Limited has advised that spudding of Lockyer-2 is expected to occur within the next week, subject to completion of maintenance and rig-up.
Lockyer-2 has a planned total depth (TD) of 4,451m TVDSS and the time required to reach TD is estimated at 35 days from spud.
