Burgate has been awarded 3 new licences in the 30th Offshore Licensing Round.
Two blocks are in the East Irish Sea 113/27e and 110/5. These blocks have potential prospects in the Permian Collyhurst Sandstone and in the Triassic Ormskirk Sandstone. Two more blocks 47/10c and 47/15d under one licence have been awarded in the Southern North Sea. There is a promising undeveloped gas discovery on block 47/15d extending into 47/10.
