China's first shale gas field Fuling has built up an annual capacity of 10 billion cubic meters, Dai Houliang, Vice Chairman & President of Sinopec Corp. said at a news conference in Hong Kong when Sinopec Corp. announced its 2017 annual results on March 26.
The Fuling shale gas field, developed by Sinopec in Chongqing, generated over 6 billion cubic meters of shale gas in 2017.
