The president of the Iberdrola group, Ignacio Galán, held a meeting this week with the French president, Emmanuel Macron, within the framework of the Choose France forum. Macron has insisted that the recovery plans will be oriented mainly to energy transition and digitization, strategic axes shared by Iberdrola, as Galán has reaffirmed.

The president of the company has reiterated the group's commitment to France, where it plans to invest 4,000 million euros in the next four years. Among its main projects in the country, the Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm stands out, which will involve an investment of 2.4 billion euros, and the additional renewable growth derived from the acquisition of Aalto Power, which has 700 MW of wind and photovoltaic under development.
