Fairfield Geotechnologies and Global Geophysical Firm Reach Agreement for Second Z100 System

05/07/2018

Fairfield Geotechnologies has reached an agreement with one of the world’s leading geophysical services companies for the purchase of an additional 3000 Z100 nodes, their second sizeable purchase in a year, building on their current inventory. Fairfield Geotechnologies has specifically designed the Z100 nodal system to allow safe and easy 4C data acquisition in transition zones, where it provides continuous recording for up to 30 days at depths from 0 to 300 meters.

The Z100 offers the market a highly reliable and capable option to increase productivity for customers, allowing them to improve their competitive position and meet the expectations of new market realities, backed by Fairfield Geotechnologies’ proven history of dependability and leadership.

“Our goal is to deliver best-in-class products and services that allow our clients to focus on their geological objectives rather than the limitations of their acquisition system,” said Charles (Chuck) Davison, President and CEO, Fairfield Geotechnologies. “We are very encouraged that they have decided to add more Z100s to their inventory, providing confirmation that they believe in the productivity and value this system brings to their operations.”

The client will take delivery of the nodes before the end of the year. The Z100 system works seamlessly with the ZLand system, or can be used alongside any other land and/or marine acquisition system for seamless data integration from land to deeper waters.
