Silixa is pleased to announce that Pierpaolo Marchesini has joined the company’s UK branch in the capacity of Senior Geophysicist, effective immediately.

Pierpaolo’s appointment will help expand Silixa’s geophysical service offerings and will enable the company to respond faster to the global energy challenges, further developing Silixa’s active seismic monitoring portfolio in the renewable and alternative energy markets, focusing on applications such as geothermal and CO2 storage monitoring.

Pierpaolo joins Silixa with 15 years’ experience in time-lapse technologies for sub-surface characterization and monitoring gained in various roles with prestigious organizations such as Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) and the Center for Carbonate Research (CSL). His work has been published widely in academic and industry forums.
