Angela Lodge return boosts OPC Reservoir Engineering expertise

30/07/2021

Reservoir Engineer Angela Lodge has re-joined OPC to provide additional expertise to the OPC Technical team in London.

Angela (then Anzhela Glebova) worked for OPC from 2012 to 2015 and then moved to the Netherlands to work for Spirit Energy. OPC are delighted that she has returned to OPC and will boost the company's expertise within reservoir simulation, uncertainty management, reserves evaluation, well performance analysis and well test analysis.

Angela said:
“I am so pleased to be back reconnecting with old colleagues and clients. I love the variety of work at OPC and I am very excited to be working on CO2 injection studies – after years of working on projects to extract oil and gas it is fantastic to now be analysing how best to return the carbon into reservoirs.”

“While I was working at Spirit, my husband Marc and I lived in Rotterdam which was lovely and my four-year-old son can speak English, Russian and Dutch as a result. However I am really looking forward to living back in the UK so we can see family and friends as well as having regular trips into London. Hamley’s toy store and the London Eye are top of my son’s list!”

Angela holds a MSc in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College London and has 14 years oil and gas industry experience. She has a strong background in a wide range of technical skills and tools in reservoir simulation, field development, reservoir management, reserves evaluation, production management and optimisation.
