Aberdeen Young Professionals are delighted to welcome two new committee members to assist with the organisation of events and communicating with our members.

Taylor Downs (left) and Heather Buchan (right).

Taylor has varied work experience and currently works in both administration and retail management.  She is a graduate of RGU with a BA (Hons) in Events Management and has worked on multiple events raising money and awareness for various charities in the last few years.  Taylor is looking forward to supporting AYP in the development of their future events.

Heather has received degrees from both Aberdeen Universities, studying Social Sciences at RGU before completing a Masters Degree in International Business with distinction from Aberdeen University.  Heather now specialises in marketing for the energy sector.  In her current role she manages the marketing and communications effort and data intelligence and engineering firm Imrandd.  In her spare time, she enjoys cold water swimming and the great outdoors! Heather will use her marketing expertise to support AYP with their growth plans.

Established in 2009, Aberdeen Young Professionals is a networking group aimed at young professionals who either work or are based in the Aberdeen area.

Regular events allow members to network with like minded individuals and make new connections. AYP aim to help develop the next generation of industry leaders
