LADOL Free Zone has once again broken new ground and taken Nigeria closer to becoming West Africa Hub. LADOL set another record with its recent heavy lift project. Working with its strategic partner Mammoet and using their MTC-15 1200 ton shore crane, which is the largest of its kind in the world, a multi-Cat 320-ton vessel was successfully offloaded and launched into the water.
This achievement marks a new era for Nigeria’s maritime and industrial capabilities, transforming it into the heavy lift hub of West Africa, and enabling large industrial projects and 100% local vessel fabrication to take place in the region with ease.
