VENSYS enters the Japanese wind market

23/09/2021

VENSYS has received an order by CEF (CEF Co., Ltd.) for the delivery of wind turbines, thus successfully entering the Japanese market.

The "Tsuyama“ wind farm comprises 16 gearless wind turbines, type Vensys 115, 4.1 MW, with a hub height of 72.0 m.

Mr. Kamata, CEO of CEF in Japan:
"VENSYS have convinced us with their technology and high quality as well as the way they have been exchanging information with us in the preparation of this project, which was perfect.“

VENSYS technology: a perfect fit for the sophisticated Japanese market

VENSYS Energy AG is a German developer and manufacturer of wind energy converters with its head office located in the state of Saarland in the southwest of Germany. Currently wind turbines using VENSYS technology account for 60 gigawatts of output connected to the grid worldwide.

VENSYS wind turbines represent state-of-the-art technology and are thus ideal for a sophisticated market like Japan. To cater for the demands of that particular country and provide a comprehensive service package, "VENSYS Japan Inc.“ was established last year. VENSYS has also signed an LTSA (Long Term Service Agreement) with CEF for the Tsuyama project.

Jürgen Rinck, CEO of VENSYS:
"We would like to thank CEF for their trust in our know-how and look forward to working  closely with CEF in the future. Entering the Japanese market with CEF as a new customer at our side will enable us to open the door to implementing potential new projects in Japan.“
