DeltaTek, a well construction specialist, has announced a number of promotions within its team, reflecting the company’s internal growth strategy. 

DeltaTek’s disruptive technologies, including SeaCure® and ArticuLock®, were created in response to the growing requirement for simple, cost-saving and value-adding oil and gas service solutions.

Following on from a successful 2021, the recent promotions of Lori Angus to Office Manager, Jonas Taverne to Senior Service Supervisor and Gregor McLellan to Design Engineer are a key milestone for DeltaTek and part of the company’s ambitious expansion plans.

Prior to joining DeltaTek as a Business Administrator in 2019, Lori was working for a governmental institution and an environmental services company. Within her new role, Lori will continue offering administrative support, managing the financial and business development operations on a day-to-day basis.  

An Aberdeen university graduate, Gregor began his career with DeltaTek as a Mechanical Engineer Intern in 2019. Having completed his studies in 2020, Gregor became a permanent member of the team, taking on the role as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer and now progressing into his new role as a Design Engineer. 

With several years of experience in customer service and an engineering degree from Robert Gordon University, Jonas joined DeltaTek in early 2019, quickly becoming a vital part of the operational team and now progressing into a senior role to support further growth of the company. 

Commenting on his appointment, Jonas said: “Working with the highly experienced industry specialists at DeltaTek has allowed me to gain first-hand knowledge and develop a unique skillset which I am excited to continue building within my new role. 

“Since joining DeltaTek, I have seen the company grow from strength to strength and I am proud to be a part of this fantastic team, helping revolutionise the offshore drilling industry with DeltaTek’s innovative technologies.”
