RPS welcomes Colin Macdonald as Director within the Due Diligence & Sustainable Business team

With over 30 years’ experience in environmental due diligence and sustainable advisory services, RPS welcome Colin Macdonald as Director within their Due Diligence & Sustainable Business team. 

Joining their Leeds UK office from Sweco UK, Colin has previously grown a number of blue-chip investor clients and also worked with many private equity clients specifically targeting renewable energy investments.

Colin’s career successes have seen him working on large-scale infrastructure and investment projects and M&A deals for corporate and investor clients. He has headed up teams on due diligence, contaminated land, compliance and permitting for a multitude of sectors, including property, finance, energy, manufacturing and infrastructure, and has worked with the UK Ministry of Defence for over 20 years.

A past member of the Specialist in Land Condition Professional Technical Panel, Colin has also completed the Cambridge University Institute for Sustainability Leadership diploma and is a Specialist in Land Condition (SiLC) assessor.
