Mustafa Sanalla, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation, visited Repsol upon an invitation from the CEO of the company, Mr. Jodi Jon Imaz, this week at Repsol's headquarter in Madrid, Spain.

Aspects of joint cooperation between NOC and REPSOL in the field of exploration, production and renewable energies were discussed. The resumption of exploratory drilling activities in the contractual exploration areas during the third quarter of this year was emphasised. Repsol's commitment to investing in development of the producing fields aims to increase the current production rates, based on international oil field practices. The commitment of Repsol to invest in the field of renewable energies in the El Sharara field and Libya in general was discussed and confirmed.

During this visit, the Chairman was accompanied by, Abulgasem Shengher, Member of the Board of Directors for Exploration and Production, and Khalifa Abdulsadek, Technical Advisor to the Chairman and CEO of Murzuq Oil Services Company.

The meeting was also attended by Mr. Jose Carlos Vicente , Regional Director for Africa, Asia, Europe and Brazil, and Mr. Simone Sciamanna, General Manager of Repsol Libya and Mr. Mehdi Samma, Deputy General Manager of Repsol Libya.
