30/06/2022

Vestas has received a 27 MW order for the Aquilonia and Forenza wind parks, to be located in the regions of Campania and Basilicata, in Italy. The order includes the supply and installation of two V100-2.0 MW in 2.2 MW operating mode and two V126-3.45 MW wind turbines, delivered in 3.8 MW Power Optimised Mode, for the 12 MW Aquilonia wind park and four V126-3.45 MW wind turbines, delivered in 3.8 MW Power Optimised Mode, for the 15 MW Forenza project.

The order, placed by IVPC Power 10 and IVPC Power 6, both part of the IVPC Group, also includes a 10-years Active Output Management (AOM 4000) service agreement for the maintenance of the wind parks.

“We are proud to work, once again, with our long-term partner I.V.P.C. for these two wind projects that showcase the reliability of Vestas’ technology and its 2 and 4 MW platforms when it comes to providing  solutions that are customised to the specific needs of each project. These wind parks will add to the more than 5 GW of clean energy installed or under construction by Vestas in Italy”, says Vestas Head of Italy, Francesco Amati.

Turbine delivery and commissioning are planned by the first quarter of 2023.
