TROVE 1st Subsurface has introduced a new series "TROVE VIEWS", available on their YouTube Channel. Initially TROVE VIEWS will be a weekly video (or vlog) news digest, with one main topic and some major news overviews from around the energy industry.

Everybody is busy, with no time to wade through endless webpages to get to the interesting news. TROVE VIEWS will be a regular 'news digest' with short commentaries on topical news stories from the energy sector. TROVE VIEWS will start with an explanation and discussion on Windfall Taxes, as applied in the UK earlier this year. What are the consequences of these taxes? Bizarrely, will this start an upsurge in oil & gas activity on the UKCS? This will be a forum for debate - with follow-up videos incorporating comments and feedback we receive on our articles. All videos will be date-stamped and topics highlighted for easy searching.

TROVE 1st Subsurface already have numerous videos on important discoveries and developments in Guyana, Suriname, Namibia, the North Sea, West Africa, Australia & Indonesia.

The company are also continuing their "How Oilfields Work" educational series with a look at something which may seem trivial - "Depth". But like most things in life, there are complexities when you delve into the subject. There will be more in the weeks to come as this series helps non-technical people better understand how oilfields work.
