16/12/2022

Baker Hughes has been recognized by Forbes as one of The World’s Top Female-Friendly Companies. In partnership with market research company Statista, Forbes identified the 400 companies excelling in championing women at work.

Awardees were selected based on independent surveys of approximately 85,000 women in 36 countries around the world. Participants were asked to evaluate their company on supportive policies for women in the workplace, balanced recruitment and related topics. Leadership, structure and public engagement were also taken into consideration during the analysis. The final ranking also considered a company's overall corporate responsibility and public perception related to gender equality as well as objective criteria, including female representation on corporate boards and executive ranks.Forbes 2022 World's Top Female Friendly Companies logo

“Baker Hughes is honored to be recognized by Forbes as one of the World's Top Female Friendly Companies for 2022,” said Deanna Jones, Baker Hughes’ executive vice president for People, Communications and Transformation. “We proudly champion our women globally by offering competitive pay, strong career advancement opportunities, and flexible work arrangements where possible.”

One of Baker Hughes’ largest Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), the Women’s Network, is dedicated to supporting and elevating their women around the world. Additionally, CULTIVATE is a 12-month global program dedicated to building a female leadership pipeline with a focus on inclusion and diversity and accelerating the development of leadership skills. As reported in Baker Hughes’ 2021 corporate responsibility report, its Board of Directors is 33% women, and currently women hold four of nine executive leadership team positions.

The final ranking also assessed female representation at the executive and board levels and how companies use their platforms and marketing messaging to promote gender equity. This year's list comprises the 400 companies that received the highest scores.
