NEO Energy (“NEO”) has announced changes to its management team. Paul Harris will take on the role of Chief Executive in addition to his current role as Chief Operating Officer and Robert Gair will take the role as Chief Financial Officer. 

NEO has grown rapidly over the last two and a half years and is currently the 5th largest oil and gas exploration and production company in the UK, with production currently of around 90 kboed. NEO’s ambition remains to be the UK basin’s leading operator, and the changes announced today will support the focus on operational excellence and organic delivery.

Russell Alton and Rob Adams have decided that now is the right time to step down from their roles. Russell and Rob joined at an early stage with a mandate to grow NEO and have presided over NEO’s material growth, building NEO into a successful business with a strong license to operate and delivering significant value to HitecVision (NEO’s owner).  The board of NEO and HitecVision thank them both for their significant contribution and effort and wish them all the best for the future.
