Cambridge Carbonates 1-day virtual workshop on the #Zechstein Reservoirs of NW Europe on 15th February is open for booking

The course covers the global and local controls on carbonate systems and explains how this produces different depositional carbonate reservoirs in contrasting sedimentary sequences in different settings around the Zechstein basin. It also explains how diagenetic processes in carbonates and evaporite systems may generate and preserve reservoir quality in carbonates. Interbedded evaporites may also lead to further opportunities in evaporite collapse brecciation produced by exposure, as a result of salt movement and the enhancement of pore systems during burial.
