As of May 1, 2023, Reinoud van Oosten (42) will hold the position of managing director at RPS Nederland. The current Infrastructure division director succeeds Bert Huijsen, who is retiring and will remain involved in the consultancy and engineering firm as an advisor.

Van Oosten has been working at RPS for more than 17 years and has held various management and executive positions there.

Paul Aitken, CEO Services UK and Netherlands, is convinced that Van Oosten will be able to continue the encouraging growth figures of the Dutch branch with his experience and knowledge of the company.

Based on his passion for technology, Reinoud van Oosten (right) has also remained substantively active in larger infrastructure projects in recent years, such as within the dyke improvement program Sterke Lekdijk

Paul Aitken commented: 
“It is always nice to promote talent from our own organization. Reinoud has gained extensive experience at RPS in the acquisition and organization of (framework) contracts and managing (integrated) projects. He is also experienced in building lasting customer relationships and in managing our employees and teams. I am sure that he will be a great addition to the international management team and will make the Dutch activities even more successful in the future”, said the CEO in a first reaction.

From advisor to divisional director

Van Oosten studied civil engineering at TU Delft and started his career at RPS as a water safety consultant. Subsequently, via team leadership, he worked his way up to Division Director of Infrastructure, in which he has successfully shaped the commercial activities in recent years.
