Searcher Seismic, headquartered in Australia, is a leading provider of global multi-client geoscience data, solutions and intelligence. Leveraging on our extensive library of geoscience data and products, we are currently seeking a high-performing specialist to join our team as Vice President of Sales for the Americas region.

Key Responsibilities:

As a valuable member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving sales performance, developing client relationships, expanding market presence, and upholding Searcher’s excellent reputation within the region. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Generating sales strategies to develop new sales leads and converting opportunities to increase market share.
• Taking accountability for regional revenue and performance.
• Collaborating with global sales teams to attend local and international client meetings and foster strong partnerships.
• Implementing regional marketing and sales initiatives to promote and market Searcher’s comprehensive project and service portfolio to clients.
• Identifying and communicating new opportunities within the Americas region and exploring global prospects.
• Liaising with local consultants, support services and authorities as required.

Requirements:

• Demonstrate an extensive contact base within the region, enabling you to secure a larger client base and enhance marketing exposure.
• Hold a degree relevant to the position from a tertiary institution (or equivalent), with a background in geoscience or mathematics an advantage.
• Possess a sound understanding of petroleum geology, geophysics or petroleum data management.
• Prior experience utilizing IHS Kingdom, DUG Insight and Geo-spatial platforms is advantageous.
• Have excellent communication and computer skills.
• Must hold a valid passport with unrestricted rights and ability to travel to global destinations.
• Remuneration and bonuses will be based on your suitability for the role, your level of experience your individual circumstances.
