• Vår Energi announced that Nick Walker, who held the position as CEO of the leading European E&P independent Lundin Energy until mid-2022, will be joining Vår Energi as CEO with effect from 5. September 2023. 
• Vår Energi's current CEO, Torger Rød, transfers to a new role as COO.
• Ronan Cassidy, Shell plc’s Chief Human Resources and Corporate Officer, will step down with effect from 31 December 2023, and leave Group service thereafter. Rachel Solway, currently Executive Vice President, Human Resources Organisation Development & Learning, will succeed Ronan with effect from 1 January 2024 and will be based in London.
• Ally Joss and Grant Gilbert have joined Sureclean as Project Managers.
• Kenny Murray has been appointed HSEQ Manager at Sureclean.
• David Barrie returns to Sureclean as Operations Manager having been an integral part of the original Sureclean team.
• Rachel Buchan has joined Ashtead Technology as a marketing intern.
• PR, marketing and design agency ThinkPR has promoted account director Leigh-Ann Rogie to become managing director.
• Rashad Gulmammadov is embarking on a new journey as a Senior GeoMechanicist at Ikon Science.
• The Board of Directors of American Electric Power have elected Julie Sloat chair of the Board, effective October 2. 
• Daniel G. "Dan" Stoddard, retired senior vice president, chief nuclear officer and president of Contracted Assets for Dominion Energy, has been elected to the Board of American Electric Power.
• United Oil & Gas announced that Jonathan Leather has notified the Board of his intention to step down as Chief Operating Officer (‘COO’) and Executive Director as of 31 August. 
• David Rodger, the former head of Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group (AREG) has joined renewable energy firm Statera Energy. 
• Data Structures has appointed Graham Akroyd as its Managing Director for Ireland and the UK.
• David Rodger has been appointed Business Development Director Scotland for Statera Energy.
• John Wood Group has announced that its Chief Financial Officer, David Kemp, is set to retire after a decade with the company. 
• Alexander McCabe is starting a new position as Energy Researcher at EIC (Energy Industries Council).
• Vast Solar, a renewable energy company specialising in concentrated solar thermal power (CSP) energy systems, announced the appointment of Marshall D. (Mark) Smith as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective September 18, 2023.
• Tandem PV, a Silicon Valley-based solar energy company and a pioneering force in photovoltaic technology, announced the appointment of Scott Wharton as CEO, effective July 17, 2023.
• Diego Tejada Evans is starting a new position as Chief Revenue Officer at Enoda Ltd.
• Parex Resources announced the appointment of Sanjay Bishnoi to Chief Financial Officer, effective October 2, 2023.
• Kevin Hyatt has been named Senior Vice President for Business Development at Nopetro Energy.
• Nick Cestari is starting a new position as a Senior Geologist at Empire Petroleum Corporation.
• Charlie Jordan has joined Mermaid Subsea Services as Assistant Project Manager.
• The newly-formed Well-Safe Resources service offering will be headed by Steve Combe; an experienced team leader and recruitment advisor with over 15 years of experience in North Sea, Falklands and West African operations.
• Jonas Munch Agerskov, currently Chief Commercial Officer, will take on the newly created role of Executive Vice President for Offshore Wind at Maersk Supply Service.
• Michael Reimer Mortensen is joining Maersk Supply Service as Chief Commercial Officer and will be responsible for leading the commercial efforts in the Offshore Support Vessel business. 
• Steve Combe has joined the Well-Safe Solutions team as Consultancy Manager of Well-Safe Resources.
