Barra Energy have announced their first geothermal conceptual completion design for Helmerich & Payne, a world-class drilling specialist. As part of the agreement to provide completion engineering and well testing support for geothermal projects, Barra Energy utilised technologies developed in the oil and gas sector to enhance and improve a standard geothermal completion.

Providing these services to Helmerich & Payne’s Advanced Well Engineering team has enabled Barra Energy to leverage their expertise in the renewable energy sector, enhance the quality of services and highlight the technology available in the North East of Scotland as we transition into this renewable sector.
