• A junta that seized power in OPEC-member state Gabon appointed Marcel Abeke, a former executive of French miner Eramet as the country's new petrol minister.
• Nick Walker has joined Vår Energi as the new Chief Executive Officer.
• Reverend of the Oil and Gas Chaplaincy, Gordon Craig, has announced that he is retiring with his replacement set to take over in October.
• Mark McAllister is named as the Government’s preferred candidate to be the next Chair of Ofgem, the energy regulator.
• Craig Wiggins is to replace Steve Rae as executive director at Step Change in Safety in October.
• Martin Smith is starting a new position as Business Development Manager at PetroVision.
• Icon Energy has appointed Peter Wilson as a non-executive director of the Company effective 8 September 2023.

• Camber Energy announced that John McVicar has been appointed the Chief Financial Officer of the Company, replacing Frank Barker who retired effective September 1st, 2023.
• DNO ASA, announced that Christopher Spencer has been appointed Managing Director of the Company as Bjørn Dale steps down as part of a planned management transition initiated last year.
