Equinor & partner Ithaca Energy have received approval from the NSTA to develop Rosebank. It's been a long time coming and is great news for the UK! Mike Cooper from 1st Subsurface TROVE describes Rosebank and gives his reaction to the news & some of the news coverage.
Developing Rosebank will REDUCE global emissions by displacing higher carbon footprint imports. The Rosebank development is a logical & responsible way forward. It will see UK jobs created, less spent on imports, less global emissions, greater energy security and more tax returns for the Treasury.
