• The CEO of Algeria's state oil company Sonatrach has been dismissed and replaced by Rachid Hachichi according to a report on state TV.
• Valor announced a key internal promotion for Hanna Howard, who has assumed the role of the company’s Chief Operating Officer.
• Following the recent resignation of Iman Hill, the IOGP Board of Directors has asked Graham Henley to step in as CEO on an interim basis.
• Verlume, a specialist in clean energy system integration, intelligent energy management and energy storage, has appointed Gillian Thomson as Head of People.
• Anne Pearce has been appointed as new Executive Vice President of People & Culture at Vestas and join and joins the company’s Executive Management Team.
• American Electric Power announced the appointment of Charles E. Zebula as executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective immediately. 
• Gavin Johnston has assumed the role of Commercial Head of Energy at GAC UK & Ireland.
• Neil Killoh is joining Coretrax in the role of country manager for Australia, New Zealand and Papa New Guinea, which marks the company’s first appointment in the region. 
• Located at the company’s well-established base in Doha, Qatar, Malek Abed joins Coretrax from Baker Hughes and will be responsible for driving business performance, while working closely with local agents to support further growth.
• David Smith joins Coretrax as Eastern Hemisphere sales manager.
• Amanda Rome has been named executive vice president, group president of Utilities and chief customer officer at Xcel Energy, replacing Brett Carter who is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.
• SSE plc announced that Helen Mahy, current non-Executive Director having served on the Board since March 2016, has been appointed as Senior Independent Director from 1 November 2023. Helen succeeds Tony Cocker who will remain on the Board as an independent non-Executive Director.
• Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence has announced that Tim Byrne has joined their Global Channel organization. 
• Colin Christie has stood down as Chief Financial Officer at Barryroe Offshore Energy.
• Dr Oliver Quinn has been appointed Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Africa Oil.
• Joanna Kay joins Africa Oil in the role of General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. 
• International well plug and abandonment specialists Well-Safe Solutions have strengthened their commercial team with the hiring of Paul Simpson as Business Development Manager.
• Equinor has appointed Jacques-Etienne Michel as country manager for Vietnam to build its offshore wind presence in the country.
