• After almost 20 years with Serica Energy, Chief Financial Officer Andy Bell has announced that he will step down from his role in the New Year.
• Martin Copeland will join Serica Energy in the New Year to take up the position of Chief Financial Officer.
• Sasol announced that Simon Baloyi will take on the role of President and CEO from April 1, 2024.
• Orsted’s chief financial officer Daniel Lerup and its chief operating officer Richard Hunter are stepping down “in mutual agreement”, the Danish utility said less than two weeks after cancelling two gigascale US offshore wind projects, which triggered $4bn in impairment charges.
• Ritchi Jose has joined OSSO as a Water Treatment Field Engineer.
• Renata Jaffar is starting a new position as Sales Director at S&P Global.
• Reach Subsea welcome Duncan Harris as Head of Tendering and Craig Russell as UK Engineering Manager.
• dCarbonX has announced the appointment of Ellie Zemani as Project Director at dCarbonX Bains Ltd for its Bains Gas Storage Project in the UK East Irish Sea.
• Scott Strazik will serve as chief executive of GE Vernova and former chief executive of Linde Stephen Angel will serve as non-executive chairman.
• Todd Gregory is starting a new position as Regional Director Americas at Fifth Ring.
• NRG Energy announced that Lawrence Coben, Chair of the NRG Board of Directors, has been appointed Interim President and Chief Executive Officer and that Mauricio Gutierrez, NRG’s President and Chief Executive Officer, has departed the Company and resigned from the Board.
• daa has appointed Peter Dunne as Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Catherine Gubbins who will leave the business in the new year.
• Oceaneering announced the promotion of Catherine E. Dunn to Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer.
• CRC Evans has appointed Leon Dashwood as Strategic Growth Director, further strengthening the company’s senior leadership team. 
• Decom Mission has announced the appointment of four new directors to the Board. Steve Andrew of ERM, Gareth Jones of Xodus, Richard Lind of Ashtead Technology and Bryan Smith of DeepOcean have been appointed after an election process, with votes being cast by the organisation’s Decommissioning Leadership Group.
• Udo Bauer will succeed Jürgen Zeschky as chief executive of Enercon from 1 January 2024. Bauer is currently chief operations officer at Enercon and will be succeeded in the role by Heiko Juritz. 
• IHI Power Services Corp. (IPSC), a leading owner and operator of power plants across the U.S., announced the appointment of Glenn McCombs as its new chief development officer (CDO), effective immediately.
• Universal Hydrogen Co. announced the appointment of Anastasiya “Stasy” Pasterick as its Chief Financial Officer. 
• Shannon Wever is joining Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners to lead Horizon New Energy in Canada.
• Lester Clark is starting a new position as Energy Transition Advisor at Native.
• Tom Glover, UK Country Chair for RWE, has been elected as the new Chair of the Carbon Capture and Storage Association.
• Miriam Blair is starting a new position as Head of Sales Enablement at Wood.
