Could your career in sustainability start here?

04/01/2024

If you are looking for a graduate scheme that will kick-start your career in sustainability, RSK want to hear from you. They have the following routes available:

  • Environment and ecology
  • Geosciences
  • Construction and engineering
  • Business support.

How is the scheme structured?

During the 18-month programme, you will start with a comprehensive induction, learning about the culture at RSK and gaining an understanding of the businesses that make up the RSK Group.

Following your induction, you will be placed with an RSK business or support function, spending your first nine months working on a variety of projects so you can get a feel for where you want to take your career. You will then move on to a second rotation with another business or support function for the remaining nine months. Throughout the course of the scheme, you will learn from our experts, discover the impactful projects we deliver across the globe and develop skills that you will take with you for your entire career.

Training and development

During your placements, you will attend training days to develop your skills, from communication and leadership to commercial awareness and sustainability. Throughout your placements, you will be expected to contribute towards supporting the business in delivering high impact results. You will be assessed on your performance and will receive regular feedback. By the end of the scheme, we expect that you will have a clear idea of where you would like to work and, subject to performance, we will support you in finding an internal opportunity within the RSK Group.

Your support network

During your placements you will be guided by your line manager, along with your mentor, and you will receive support from RSK’s dedicated early careers team. You can also expand your network further by getting involved in our employee networks, or access peer to peer support by joining regular coffee mornings or listening to internal podcasts about the employee experience.

RSK Group also encourages volunteering opportunities such as conducting outreach activities at schools or getting involved in a litter picking session in your local area.
