Dr Carole Nakhle, Chief Executive Officer at Crystol Energy, has been elected Vice President of the prestigious Arab Energy Club (AEC) for a transitional year after which she will resume its Presidency in December 2024.

The Club brings together senior Arab energy professionals, executives and decision makers residing both in the Middle East and North Africa region and abroad, to provide valuable insights and policy advice on global energy markets and trends and their implications on Arab economies and the climate change agenda. 

Dr Carole Nakhle willl be working alongside the Club’s Executive Committee which includes: 

• Dr Adnan Shihab-Eldin former Acting Secretary General and Director of the Research Division of OPEC and currently acting as this year’s AEC President, 
• Dr Majid Al-Moneef former Secretary General of Saudi Arabia's Supreme Economic Council and Saudi Arabia's Governor to OPEC, 
• Dr Leila Dagher Assistant to the President for Public Policy and Associate Professor of Economics at the Lebanese American University; and 
• Dr Said Nachet Director of International Relations IFP School, among others.
