- The bp board has appointed Murray Auchincloss as bp chief executive officer with immediate effect.
- Nick Dancer is starting a new position as Chief Operations Officer at Petrogas E&P.
- Pharos Energy has announced the appointment of Dr Bill Higgs as an Independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.
- Scirocco has announced that CEO, Tom Reynolds, is standing down from his position as a Director of the Board of Scirocco, effective immediately, but will remain in his role as CEO until 12 July 2024, or an earlier date as agreed by Mr Reynolds and the Company.
- Barclays announces that Mike Cormier has been appointed as Global Head of the newly launched Energy Transition Group.
- Chris Stark has left the UK's Climate Change Committee to become the new chief executive of global climate consultancy the Carbon Trust, taking over the role in spring 2024.
- Nick Cestari is starting a new position as Development Team Lead - New Mexico Asset at Empire Petroleum Corporation.
- University of Aberdeen has appointed three leading academics - Scott J. Doyle, Bartosz Kurjanski and Joe Armstrong - to help drive forward research linked to the energy transition, one of its five Interdisciplinary research challenges.
- Martin Jakubowski is supporting Rhino Resources in planning their 2024 exploration drilling campaign on Block 2914A (PEL 85) in the Orange Basin, Namibia.
- Caroline Bolam is starting a new position as Commercial Consultant at Neptune Oil Company.
- Namcor has named Ebson Uanguta as the new interim managing director.
- RWE Generation chief executive Roger Miesen is to retire at the end of March and will be replaced by Nikolaus Valerius, who has been a member of the company’s executive board as chief operating officer since June last year.
- Michael Mouat has joined Equinor in Aberdeen as a Principal Reservoir Engineer on the Mariner heavy oil field.
- CRC Evans has appointed Robbert Reddering as Sales Manager for their Americas Offshore business.
- OEG Offshore has announced the appointment of David Carr as our new Chief Commercial Officer.
