RenewableUK has appointed Liz Conboy as its new Commercial Director to lead the trade association’s business development work. 

She will join RenewableUK's team on 2nd April, taking over from Vicky Mant who has worked for RenewableUK for five years and has developed their commercial activities extensively. 

Liz is currently Head of Venue Sales at Manchester Central and has been a key contact for the company's events team for several years, working with them on their Global Offshore Wind conferences and exhibitions. She has spent the last ten years at Manchester Central leading the commercial team during a period of rapid growth and development. Prior to this, she worked for a global events company in the energy sector.

RenewableUK’s Chief Executive Dan McGrail said:

I’m sure she will bring great energy and leadership to RenewableUK and help us to expand our commercial activities even further when she hits the ground running in April”.
