PETEX began life as a showcase for the impact that computers were having (and would go on to have) on the petroleum industry. It’s now the premier show for the subsurface energy operators, service companies and individuals. PETEX 2024 will be the first incarnation of the show as part of the Geoscience Energy Society event portfolio.

PETEX has evolved but will still feature many popular elements this historic show is renowned for and new sections to reflect the vibrant, changing industry we represent.

Call for Abstracts | Deadline: Friday 31 May 2024

The theme for PETEX 2024 is ‘The Future of Energy Geoscience – Tomorrow’s World Today’ and the GESGB welcome submissions that cover oil and gas, cross-sector technologies, innovations and geoscience applications within the energy transition and associated industries, from Early Career Professionals alongside the more experienced individuals and academics.

Please note: Submitted abstracts maybe used as part of the PETEX programme, but some may be chosen to be diverted to the CCS4G Symposium on 17 December 2024.
