Renewable energy consultancy OWC has decided to set up an office in Pembrokeshire, Wales, to support offshore wind and marine renewables projects in the Celtic Sea.

OWC has been heavily involved with floating wind projects in the Celtic Sea since 2019. The company has provided owners engineering services to the Erebus and Valorous floating wind projects and has more recently supported both the Twin Hub and White Cross developments.

The new office will be located at the Pembrokeshire Science and Technology Park in Pembroke Dock, Wales. It will add to OWC’s current consultancy presence in the south-west UK region, which includes Cardiff, Bristol and Exeter.

The Pembrokeshire office will be headed up by OWC’s Lara Lawrie, a seasoned offshore wind specialist who has been based out of Pembrokeshire for the past two decades. Lawrie has previously been heavily involved in the Erebus floating offshore wind project, and currently heads up OWC’s environment and consents team.
