Predator Oil & Gas Holdings, the Jersey-based Oil and Gas Company with near-term hydrocarbon operations focussed on Morocco and Trinidad today announced the appointment of Dr Stephen Boldy as Non-Executive Chairman effective immediately. Dr Boldy will Chair the Board of four which includes one Executive Director and three Non-Executive Directors.
Dr Boldy is currently CEO of Lansdowne Oil & Gas and is a petroleum geologist with more than 40 years' experience. He has a B.Sc. in Geology, an M.Sc. in Sedimentology and a Ph.D. From 1980 to 1984 Dr Boldy worked as a petroleum geologist for the Petroleum Affairs Division of the Department of Energy in Dublin and then spent almost 19 years with Amerada Hess Corporation, where his he was U.K. Exploration Manager, Norway Exploration Manager and International Exploration Manager. In March 2003 he joined Ramco Energy as Vice President Ireland and led the flotation of Lansdowne Oil and Gas in 2006. Dr Boldy served as President of the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain (PESGB) in 2004.
