Strengthening the strategic partnership to protect Ukraine's energy infrastructure and ensure a stable heating season were the main topics of discussion between Oleksiy Chernyshov, Naftogaz Group CEO, and Steven Burns, U.S. National Security Council Energy Director, during their meeting in Kyiv.
"First and foremost, I want to thank our American partners for their comprehensive assistance and crucial support for Ukraine during the war. The United States is one of our key partners in enhancing the energy resilience of our country," said Oleksiy Chernyshov.
He also highlighted that Naftogaz Group is actively working with international partners to develop distributed generation, which will provide Ukrainians with additional sources of heat and electricity.
