• Tullow Oil announced that Rahul Dhir will step down as Chief Executive Officer and resign from the Board during 2025 to pursue other business, academic and family interests.
• Former bp chief executive Bernard Looney has been appointed to the board of Abu Dhabi energy firm XRG. 
• ExxonMobil announced Liam M. Mallon, president of ExxonMobil Upstream Company and vice president Exxon Mobil Corporation, will retire effective February 1, 2025. The Board of Directors has appointed Dan L. Ammann president, ExxonMobil Upstream Company.
• Rick Muncrief has announced his retirement from the position of President and Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Devon Energy Corporation, effective March 1, 2025.
• Devon Energy has appointed Clay Gaspar, currently Devon’s Chief Operating Officer, to succeed Muncrief as President and CEO and as a member of the board, effective March 1, 2025.
• TWMA announcing it has appointed Jonathan Parkes as its new Group Commercial Director. 
• Phil Crookall is starting a new position as Technical Director at GHD.
• Jarle Skrebergene, CEO at Aize, is taking on the role of Chairman at Elementz.
• Camilla Leon, VP Subsea AkerBP, is joining the board of Elementz.
• Port of Aberdeen has appointed Gillian King as a Non-Executive Member to its Board, effective 6 January 2025.
• ADM Energy announced that Claudio Coltellini, a Non-executive Director of the Company, has stepped down from the Board of the Company effective immediately to pursue other opportunities.
• NOV Inc. announces today that Chris Kendall has been appointed to the Company’s Board of Directors, effective December 15, 2024.
• Econowind has announced the appointment of Chiel de Leeuw as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), effective December 1, 2024.
• Sayma Cox has stepped down as CEO of Aberdeen-based North Sea Midstream Partners (NSMP). 
• The Nigerian government announced the appointment of Ademola Adeyemi-Bero as the new Chairperson of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) Board of Governors for 2025.
• Hadrami Taleb Bouya is starting a new position as Local partner at APEX Geoscience.
• bp’s senior vice president for offshore wind, Matthias Bausenwein, will depart the oil and gas company following the spin out its offshore wind portfolio.
• Juan Cottier has joined TRACS International as an Associate Geoscientist.
• Dr. Ellie MacInnes is starting a new position as Technical Director - Geoscience Strategic Lead at WSP in the UK.
• Inverness & Cromarty Firth Green Freeport announced the appointment of Alison Wilson as Investment & Development Manager. 
• CMG welcomes Herman Nieuwoudt as President of Bluware, a CMG company. 
• Interocean Marine Services (Interocean), has announced the appointment of Robert Dalziel as its new Managing Director for the Middle East and Asia Pacific (APAC). 
• Representing Hendrik Veder Group UK in England, Jack Harris has been appointed Business Development Manager.
• Travis Halliday has joined Hendrik Veder Group's Aberdeen team as North East Sales Manager.
