Dajin Launches Floating Wind Team

03/04/2025

Dajin has significantly strengthened its capabilities as a global supplier of foundations for the offshore wind industry by setting up a dedicated Floating Wind sector, based in Madrid, within its Overseas Operations division. The Company welcome Carlos Martin, Walid Oulmane, Francisco Villazón and Corentin Thepaut (who will join during the month of April) as part of its newly created Floating Wind team.

Floating offshore wind is a dynamic and rapidly evolving sector with immense potential. With close to 2 GW of floating projects with secured power offtake and more floating wind tenders expected in 2025 in UK, France, Korea, Italy, Norway, Portugal and Spain, the industry is at a turning point.

Under the leadership of Carlos Martin, a veteran in the industry, the Floating Wind team will contribute to guide Dajin achieving its mission of delivering a one-stop floating foundation solution - spanning manufacturing, transportation, assembly, and final delivery - designed to support developers and EPC contractors in reducing costs and accelerating large-scale commercialization.

The addition of Carlos, Walid, Francisco and Corentin will bring unparalleled expertise and fresh momentum to our floating wind activities. Their long track record in developing and executing floating wind projects will significantly reinforce Dajin’s value proposition and technical capabilities. We intend to continue expanding the floating team with more talented and experienced professionals.
