- Greenvolt Next UK has achieved certifications for its distributed energy generation operations in the British market: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
- These internationally recognised standards demonstrate Greenvolt Next UK's commitment to excellence in quality management, environmental stewardship, and occupational health and safety in the United Kingdom.
- The certifications strengthen Greenvolt Next UK's compliance with global best practices and support its eligibility for Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) processes across multiple sectors.
Greenvolt Next UK, a provider of distributed (on-site) renewable energy solutions for businesses, has secured three ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) certifications for its operations in the United Kingdom. Launching earlier this year, Greenvolt Next UK has obtained ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 seals, which demonstrate the company’s commitment to quality management, environmental protection and the safety of workers.
Greenvolt Next UK is part of Greenvolt Group, a global leader in renewable energy solutions. These recognitions also highlight the wider group’s commitment to the ISO’s international standards, specifically in the following areas:
- Quality Management, ISO 9001:2015 – Recognises efficient operations and high-quality service delivery aligned with regulatory standards and customer expectations.
- Environmental Management, ISO 14001:2015 – Ensures the implementation of processes to minimise environmental impact and promote sustainability.
- Health and Safety - ISO 45001:2018 - Demonstrates the company's commitment to creating safer working environments and reducing workplace risks.
The accreditations strengthen the company’s eligibility for Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) processes, enabling it to deliver reliable and sustainable distributed energy solutions to companies across a wide range of industries.
ISO certifications are a key element in ensuring technical credibility and consistency within the energy sector. By aligning with internationally recognised standards, providers can mitigate risks, improve efficiency, and build long-term stakeholder confidence in the development of reliable on-site energy systems.
“Achieving ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001 certifications early in our UK operations goes beyond simply meeting international standards, it reflects our unwavering commitment to excellence across all areas of our business”, said Owen Power, CEO of Greenvolt Next UK.
“These certifications demonstrate our dedication to building sustainable, high-quality decentralised energy solutions that prioritize safety and environmental responsibility, reinforcing the foundation for our continued growth and innovation in the UK market," continued Owen Power, who is also the CEO of Greenvolt Next Ireland.
Greenvolt Next UK, launched in early 2025, is targeting a portfolio with a total capacity of 100MW of commercial and industrial projects by year-end. The company empowers UK businesses to generate, use, and manage their own renewable electricity through solutions like rooftop solar installations on warehouses and industrial facilities.
Additionally, the Group is among the five largest producers of sustainable biomass-based electricity, with a total capacity of 68.7 MW, following the acquisition of Kent Renewable Energy in 2024, alongside Tilbury Green Power. In the Utility-Scale segment, Greenvolt has also been expanding its presence in UK, with a 209 MW solar pipeline and preparations underway for the development of two storage projects with 58 MW.
