In collaboration with Geoex MCG, Perceptum and Equatorial Guinea’s MHMD, DUG are launching a major multi-client 3D seismic reprocessing campaign across 9,600 square kilometres of the prospective yet underexplored offshore Rio Muni and Douala Basins.
The project brings together six adjoining legacy 3D surveys, which will be reprocessed into a single, seamless, high-resolution volume using the company's advanced FWI algorithms and pre-stack depth imaging. The resulting dataset is designed to unlock untapped hydrocarbon potential in Miocene and Upper Cretaceous-Paleogene plays.
The survey covers five prospective open blocks.
