Helms Geomarine Sdn Bhd (HELMS) welcomes James Matthews to join the ranks as the company’s Drilling Specialist. With over 30 years in offshore geotechnical drilling with Seacore and Fugro, James had involved in some of the toughest projects across Europe, Africa and Asia, requiring customized solutions and local ingenuity.

Most recently, he had worked alongside HELMS’ drilling team in Japan and South Korea, helping deliver geotechnical drilling operations smoothly in difficult offshore environments and ground conditions.

Now calling Kuala Lumpur home, James brings not only geotechnical drilling knowledge but also a lifetime of lessons from shallow and deepwater projects worldwide. His arrival strengthens HELMS’ journey of growing beyond South East Asia into the Middle East, West Africa, and South America regions, blending world-class expertise with local talent that defines HELMS.
