The Petroleum Agency South Africa (PASA) welcomes the Cabinet’s announcement of the appointment of Dr. Bongani Sayidini as Chief Executive Officer, as confirmed in the Statement on the Cabinet meeting held on 15 October 2025.
"We are delighted by the confirmation of Dr. Sayidini’s appointment as CEO of PASA,” said Satish Roopa, Chairperson of the Board. "His leadership marks a significant milestone in the Agency’s journey towards long-term stability and strategic growth. Over the past four years, Dr. Sayidini has consistently demonstrated exceptional expertise and visionary leadership in his roles as Chief Operations Officer and, more recently, as Acting Chief Executive Officer."
