Shell New Energies US LLC (Shell), a subsidiary of Shell plc, has voluntarily withdrawn from Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind, LLC (Atlantic Shores), assigning its 50% outstanding membership interests to existing joint venture partner, EDF-RE Offshore Development, LLC (EDF power solutions), with an immediate effective date.
Atlantic Shores was a 50-50 joint venture between Shell and EDF power solutions, established to develop offshore wind projects off the coast of New Jersey and New York.
