VSB has announced the commissioning of the "Tortebesse Wind Farm" located in the Puy-de-Dôme department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
Some figures about the wind farm:
- 15 VESTAS wind turbines
- 32.4 MW capacity
- Annual electricity needs of approximately 31,000 people
- Equivalent to 23,000 tonnes of CO2 avoided per year
“The Tortebesse wind farm is the first park we have commissioned in the Puy-de-Dôme region; it represents a major achievement, being to date the most powerful wind farm in operation for VSB France,” says Maël Lagarde, Managing Director of VSB France.
