Leading global torque machine specialist EnerQuip has announced record turnover at its precision machining division in Fife.
Aberdeenshire-headquartered EnerQuip acquired Cowdenbeath sub-contract precision machining company Diamac Engineering Ltd in 2022. In 2025, turnover surpassed £1 million for the first time under EnerQuip’s stewardship, sparking aspirations to move the company to a larger site in the area in 2027.
Diamac Engineering Ltd – which employs 9 people – was established in 1997 and offers a broad scope of services, including turning, milling, grinding, cutting, cleaning and inspection equipment. Its addition to the EnerQuip portfolio was seen as a significant move, bringing machining capability for the group in-house and opening up diversification opportunities thanks to Diamac’s established reputation across a range of sectors which sees more than half of revenues coming from outside the energy sector.
The turnover news comes on the back of a momentous year in 2025, during which EnerQuip celebrated its tenth anniversary by announcing that it was on track to achieve its ambitious “25 by 25” goal, aiming to achieve £25 million turnover in 2025. It also announced a refreshed leadership team to deliver long-term goals and uphold the company’s unwavering commitment to service excellence.

Commenting on the deal, Iain Frater, Chief Operating Officer, said:
“From the outset, Diamac’s well-established reputation beyond the energy sector represented important opportunities for EnerQuip’s growth and diversification.
“That important blend of synergy with our existing services, supply chain protection and growth potential is not only bearing fruit now but also paving the way for a growing presence in Fife in terms of job creation and our desired growth into larger premises in the area to support our customer locally, and further afield.”
With almost 100% revenues coming from overseas markets, 2025 saw sustained growth in numerous international markets, most notably Suriname, Guyana, Brazil and Norway. The year also includes the sale of EnerQuip’s first unit to Spain and exponential growth in the Middle East which now accounts for half of revenues.
