INA Group has announced the addition of two new exploration licences, SAVA-10/1 and DRAVA-02/2, further strengthening the company’s upstream portfolio and reinforcing its long-term commitment to energy development in the region.

The newly acquired licences are located within prospective hydrocarbon basins and represent a strategic step in INA Group’s ongoing efforts to enhance domestic exploration activities and unlock new resource potential. With these additions, the company continues to build a balanced portfolio that combines mature production areas with high-potential exploration blocks.
The SAVA-10/1 licence, situated within the Sava Basin, offers promising geological structures with the potential for both oil and natural gas accumulations. Meanwhile, the DRAVA-02/2 licence, located in the Drava Basin, provides additional opportunities to explore underdeveloped formations that have attracted growing industry interest in recent years.
“These licences represent an important milestone in INA Group’s exploration strategy,” said a company spokesperson. “By expanding our footprint in key geological basins, we are positioning the company to deliver long-term value through responsible resource development and technological innovation.”
INA Group plans to initiate comprehensive geological and geophysical studies across both licence areas, including the evaluation of existing seismic data and the potential acquisition of new surveys. The results of these studies will guide future exploration drilling and further technical assessments.
The expansion of the portfolio reflects INA Group’s commitment to strengthening energy security, supporting regional development, and maintaining high environmental and operational standards across all exploration activities.
