Aberdeen Science Centre Opens Call For Industry Partners to Help Inspire the Next Generation

01/04/2026

STEM education charity introduces new corporate sponsorship packages

Aberdeen Science Centre has issued a rallying call to industry partners to help inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers and innovators.

Available from April 2026, businesses are invited to join the centre’s growing network of partner organisations and to support its mission to inspire a lifelong interest in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).

Each year, Aberdeen Science Centre engages with more than 60,000 visitors, including over 12,000 through its schools and community engagement programmes.

A new suite of corporate sponsorship packages has been released so companies can align their own work and values with activities at the centre and out in the community.

Support from industry partnerships will help fund the development of new educational programmes, exhibits and learning resources, as well as STEM engagement with children, young people and adults across the North-east of Scotland and beyond. Funding will also be used to maintain and enhance the centre’s current exhibitions and activities.

Steph McCann, head of fundraising at Aberdeen Science Centre, encouraged interested businesses to engage with the centre and find out how they can work together.

She said: “At Aberdeen Science Centre, we are proud to collaborate with a diverse range of inspiring organisations that support everything we do, enabling the centre to grow and our team to continue creating impactful science experiences for people of all ages.

“With the launch of our new corporate partnership packages, we are inviting forward-thinking organisations to engage with us and become part of our story. As a registered charity, we rely on the support of businesses to extend our reach and transform young lives through learning. We are now looking to form partnerships with companies that share our ambition to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, doctors, nurses, innovators, researchers and so much more.”

A range of partnership packages are available, from Bronze to Platinum, offering different levels of investment. Benefits of the new partnerships include logo displays within the centre, complimentary and discounted venue hire, complimentary admissions, employee engagement opportunities and recognition on the centre’s website and social media channels.

Partnering with Aberdeen Science Centre allows businesses to help create engaging, high-impact science experiences while giving back to the local community and demonstrating a commitment to the next generation, helping the centre to lay the foundations for children and young people to develop interests and skills in STEM.

Steph continued: “We are excited to grow our network, which already includes businesses in energy, life sciences and food and drink, even further through our new partnership packages, as we look to build lasting collaborations across new sectors and industries. If you want to create more opportunities to inspire young people, support STEM learning and make a lasting impact in the community, we encourage you to get in touch today.”
