On 19 April 2026, Algeria will officially launch the Algeria Bid Round 2026, opening new opportunities for international investors to participate in the exploration and development of the country’s hydrocarbon potential. 

This initiative reflects Algeria’s commitment to strengthening partnerships and fostering a dynamic and attractive investment environment in the upstream sector.

ALNAFT

ALNAFT (National Agency for the Valorization of Hydrocarbon Resources) is the Algerian public authority responsible for the governance and promotion of upstream oil and gas activities.

Acting on behalf of the State, ALNAFT manages the national hydrocarbon mining domain, oversees exploration and production operations, and supports national and international partnerships, in accordance with Algeria’s legal and regulatory framework.

Through transparency, efficiency, and cooperation, ALNAFT contributes to the sustainable development and attractiveness of Algeria’s upstream energy sector.
