After several years of record growth, lifting specialists need more space. A new headquarters is set to be ready in 2026.

HARCO has been extremely busy in recent years, growing from just a handful of employees to now approaching 100 colleagues — all driven by the booming offshore wind industry.

Now, this growth and momentum are leading the company to expand its headquarters in Måde, located in southeastern Esbjerg: 5,900 square meters will be ready for operation in 2026.

“We’ve grown significantly in recent years, and our current facilities simply can’t keep up,” says Frank Hedegaard, COO at HARCO.

Our capacity is stretched, and based on customer inquiries for upcoming projects, we know we’ll need to handle increasingly larger components – and more of them. It’s a big decision for a young company like ours, but not a difficult one. This expansion is demand-driven, and frankly, we would’ve loved for the building to be finished yesterday.”
